I just thought this was funny, although it does explain alot. I always wondered how the legend of the tooth fairy was invented.

Oh, and this is from VG Cats, which will be added to the comics section once I finish the archives. I'm about half way through them.

10 Years!

Just got back from work. To day was aspeciel day for me, because it was 10 years ago today that I first started working in the grocery industry. 10 years of baging groceries, stocking shelves, and running a cash register.

It's kind of cool that I have been doing this for so long, but at the same time, it is slightly depressing. I figured I would be working in the IT industry by now, or be a published author by now, or making video games by now. Instead I make a living making salads and selling chicken.

I'm proud that I have lasted 10 years, but if you stop back in 2017 and see a post titled "20 Years!" please shoot me or something.

Best Served Cold

One year ago today I posted my first story, Bloody Vengeance. Since then I have posted 64 different stories on three different sites. I have started several series, and finished one that I started 4 years ago.

To celebrate, I wrote a sequel to Bloody Vengeance.

I wasn't able to get this to the proofreaders, so it might change, but I wanted to post it before midnight, so it might change.

Best Served Cold

I hear the door close behind me as I look around the room. Cigar smoke hangs lazily in the air and the smell of vomit greets my noise. I have to fight to keep from adding my breakfast to the mix.

I sit down at the bar and order a beer. As the bartender gets my drink, I survey the room. One exit, with a bathroom in the back. Three guys sitting at a table, talking quietly. The bartender gave me my beer and I send it back. I wanted it in a bottle, and couldn’t help but laugh as he drained the glass before giving me my beer, a Guinness. It reminded me of a movie I saw once upon a time, in Mexico.

As the bartender gave me the beer, I told him I was there to see Alex Gregor. He said that he knew no one by that name and walked away, looking nervous.

A few days ago, I had tracked down a lowlife who had information I needed. He knew who pulled the trigger. He knew who killed my wife and son. He even told me where to find Gregor before I threw him into Castle Lake. I decided he would be one of the few lucky ones. One of Giovanni’s men that I left alive.

One of the men at the table stood and walked towards me. I didn’t see him moving; I felt it. The floor shook as the blimp lumbered across the room. My hand went to my Beretta as he stopped behind me. I knew it probably wouldn’t be able to get past the layers of fat this guy was wearing, but I might be able to annoy him with it.

He stopped behind me. I could smell fried chicken and beer on him. He said that they had been waiting for me, that they had found my informant. That he had told them I was looking for Gregor right before they slit his throat. That no one sees Gregor.

I heard his buddies pull their guns, and I dove for cover, shooting Tiny in the knees before I rolled behind the bar. I returned fire, but ran out of bullets fast. Out came the Ingrams, and I smiles as I took off the safeties, but my smile faded when I heard a shotgun blast hit the wall above me.

Why do they always have shotguns and I don’t? Next time, I’m brining my own shotgun.

A nearby beer bottle gave me an idea. I yelled, making them think I was throwing a grenade, and they dove for cover, giving me the time I needed. As they stood, I broke cover and opened fire. The girls started singing as bullets tore them apart.

Tiny slowly got to his feet as his buddies fell. He dove for me, but I fired, putting a bullet between his eyes and dodging as he hit the ground, nearly falling through to the basement. I walked over and checked the others, smiling a bit when saw that they were dead. I grabbed the shotgun as I heard the door of the bathroom open.

It was Gregor.

He didn’t even have time to be surprised as I fired, taking out his knees. I walked over and watched as he lay there in pain. I kicked him in the head a few times before pointing the shotgun at his head. I should pull the trigger. I should paint the room with his brains, but I have other ideas for him.

As much as I want to see him pay for what he did, I’m not done with him yet.

R.I.P. Chris Benoit 1967-2007

Earlier today the wrestling world learned that Christ Benoit, former WCW and WWE Heavyweight Champion, was found dead in his home along with his wife and their son. Police are investigating their deaths, and tonights episode of Raw, which was suppose to be a memorial show for Mr. McMahon, will now be a tribute to Chris Benoit.

Benoit is, with out a doubt, my favorite wrestler of all time. I don't think I ever saw a bad Benoit match, and I have always had a lot of respect for him. One of my favorite Benoit moments, and no doubt the match that they will show at the end of the tribute show, was at Wrestlemania 20, when he beat Triple H and Shawn Micheals to become the World Heavyweight Champion. After the match Eddie Guerrero, one of Benoit's best friends and the WWE Heavyweight Champion, came out and celebrated in the center of the ring with him.

Batman's New Ride

They showed the new Batcylce, called the Batpod, on The Today Show teh other day, and it just looks wierd, and not in a very good way. teh engines are in the wheels, the fron fork os attached on 1 side, and is is more or less just the bike it's self. I am sure it will look cool on the big screen, but it just doesn't look that good right now.

on a brighter note, I found pics of the new Batsuit, which is seriously sweet looking. They completely redid the cowl. in past versions it wa attached to the shoulder portion of the costume, but this time is it designed more like a helmet, so Batman can move his head more then ever before. Should really help. (There is a pic here but it is big, so I won't post it here.

Ask A Ninja--Omideuce and Omitrois

When I went to get the code for the previous post, I found out that there is two more Omnibus Episodes.I'm glad he talked about the problem with hiring rabid squirrels. That is why I use Killer Ninja Monkeys, although I might try using some Zombie Chipmunks some time.

Ask A Ninja--Omibus

I was having trouble watching the best episode of Ask A Ninja ever the other day, but I found it on YouTube and thought I would share it with my Non-Existent Readers. Enjoy.

ECW Just got a lot better, because Chris Benoit was just drafted to the black brand :)

Some could see this as a demotion for Benoit, but it isn't. They are basically placing the brand on his shoulders. Ever since ECW started, they needed someone to build ECW around. At first it was RVD, but then he got arrested. Big Show was next, but between talks of retiring and the fact that fans didn't like him since he had no place in ECW, that pretty much crashed and burned. They brought Lashley over from Smackdown and the fans liked him, especially when he started feuding with McMahon, but he doesn't have the experience or skill that is needed to be the cornerstone of a promotion.

With Benoit, you get skill, experience, and the fact that there is little they could do to make people hate him. anyone who enters a feud with him comes out knowing more about the art of wrestling, and he has even hand picked people to work with to help them improve (most recently with MVP.) He is an ECW original, so the old Faithful may take a renewed interest in the brand, and the fact that he doesn't seem to care who he faces, he just wants to fight means he could be matched up against anyone.

One feud I would love to see is Benoit VS C.M. Punk. Keep them both faces and just have Benoit work with Punk. Punk had been around for a long time, but I am sure he would appreciate any advice from the Rabid Wolverine.
After work, I picked up some steaks to grill and decided to head over to the liquor store to get some beer, because I only had a couple of bottles of Finnegan's left and I was out of Guinness. So I walked in to pick up some more Finnegan's as well as something else. I in the mood for something new and decided to go with Samuel Adams Cream Stout It's a good beer, and while it isn't Irish, I plan on trying some of the other Samuel Adams varieties.

But I was saddened to see that they didn't have Finnegan's in the cooler. I asked about it and it seems they aren't carrying it any more, which is too bad. I love Finnegan's. It is a great tasting beer. I have some friends who only like light beers, but like Finnegan's. And they give a huge amount of money to charity, so you could feel good about buying it. Now I have to go to Willmar or New Ulm to get it.

Oh well. I'll just have to try to find another beer to take it's place in my fridge.

Darn :)

I Knew There Was A Reason I Liked Vault

For some reason I was reading the Wikipedia entry for New Coke and while there I did a search to check on a rumor Eric told me about a few weeks ago concerning the possibility that they would be phasing out Mello Yello After confirming that they weren't, I clicked on a link for Vault.

I have always liked Vault. Not so much Vault Red Blitz, but I like the original version. only reason I don't drink more is because they don't sell it in the big bottles at work, but they do sell Mountain Dew, so I get that instead.

As I said, I always liked Vault. The first time I tasted it, I knew it tasted familiar, but I couldn't figure out where i had tasted it before. That is, until now.
Vault is a citrus flavored beverage that contains many of the same ingredients as the Coca-Cola beverage Surge, which was discontinued in 2002.

I loved Surge. I was mad when it was discontinued, and always hoped they would bring it back. And when I clicked on the Surge link I found a link to a site called Save Surge where I finally found a way to get Surge again.

Zak has found about the easiest way to make authentic-tasting SURGE that we've seen:

I was sitting at home one night and my mom bought me some Vault. I tried some and said hey this tastes like Surge so I came up with a recipe that looks and tastes like Surge:

2 drops of blue food colouring
4 drops of yellow food couloring
12 oz of Vault

:)

If you will excuse me, I have to run to Walmart and get some Vault and food coloring :)

in what seems to be a trend today, I saw this and just had to laugh. (the laughing part is the trend, in case you were wondering.

So Arnold Schwarzenegger may have smoked a Cuban Cigar while in Canada, and it was important enough to earn the number 3 spot on the Star Trib's national news section (as of this writing anyways.)

I'm not sure which is funnier, the placement of the story, or the fact that the Ap is making a big deal out of it.

I understand that it is illegal for a US Citizen to buy Cubans anywhere in the world, but this is stupid. First, as they say in the article, there is no way of knowing if that is what he bought anymore, because he smoked it already. Two, Cigars are like wine; they get better with age. The tobacco shop my bro goes to (or use to go to. His wife is trying to stop smoking, so I don't know if he has bought any for a while) sells Pre-Embargo Cubans, and he once said that he might pick some up an bring them down to smoke around the camp fire. If he can afford some, I am sure Arnold could, and he could have bought one of them. Pre-embargo cigars are perfectly legal.

If it had been me who did it, no big deal. If Arnold had done it ten years ago, no big deal, but since he is the Govenator, all of a sudden the possibility that he may have broken a law is a big deal.
I just thought this was kind of funny. I was checking my MySpace account and I saw that I had some new Friends Requsts. So I checked them and saw that they were mostly spam. I looked through them anyways, because if it was obviously spam, I delete them. if it isn't that obvious I check them out, in case they are a real person, in which case I either accept them or denie them and send a message saying why.

After a few names, I had to stop and laugh. Aparently either Stacy Kiebler changed her name, or someone decided to use her pic for her MySpace page. probably works for non-wrestling fans, but for those uf us who are (or fans of her's from Dances With The Stars) Here are a coouple of pics, courtasy of Online World Of Wrestling. As you can see, it would be hard not to recognize her.

I read this a couple of days ago, but for one reason or another (in other words I got lazy and/or distracted) I didn't post about it, a trend that may be mentioned in the next few posts.

The author is right when he says
"The carnage at Virginia Tech was predictable. What's also predictable is that something like it will happen again."
Ok, maybe not right about the predictable part. trying to predict when and where a shooting like this is going to happen next is next to impossible. I don't think they make a haystack big enough to hide that particular needle. But the part about it happening again is right. It will happen again. And again. And again.

The solution, more gun control! Wait, that can't be right. The way to stop gun men on shooting spree is to take guns away from their target? Take away some chance that some one could defend themselves and maybe even stop the shooter before he or she gets very far? That doesn't sound right.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Tighter gun control laws would not have prevented Virginia Tech, or Columbine, or any of the other shootings that have taken place over the last several years. But someone on site, who had a gun, could have stopped them before they could kill as many as they did, reducing the number of deaths to maybe one or two.

He states that at least 107 people have died in similar attacks since 1996, but just imagine if teachers had been packing, or if a janitor had been allowed to carry a gun while at work. There would have still been some fatalities, but the number would be far less then it is.

Unfortunately that isn't going to happen. As soon as anyone hints at loosening gun control laws, liberals will start whining, parents groups will complain that they don't want their kids attending schools that might allow guns on the premises, ect.

Long story short, if people like this guy get their way, we can kiss the second amendment good by.
